Accessibility

Pawsworth should workfor everyone.

We are working to make Pawsworth usable by as many people as possible, including people who use assistive technologies or navigate the web differently.

Our Commitment

Accessibility is part of the product.

Pawsworth is intended to help people find veterinary care, understand costs, manage pet records, and access important information. Those experiences should not depend on a person's ability to use a mouse, see a particular color, hear audio, or interact with a website in only one way.

We aim to improve accessibility continuously as the platform grows and as we learn where people encounter barriers.

Areas Of Focus

Designing for different ways of using the web.

Accessibility touches everything from color and contrast to keyboard navigation and readable content.

Keyboard navigation

Interactive controls should be reachable and usable without requiring a mouse or touch input.

Visual accessibility

We aim for readable contrast, clear hierarchy, meaningful focus states, and interfaces that do not rely on color alone.

Assistive technology

Content and controls should use meaningful structure and labels that can work with screen readers and other assistive tools.

Responsive layouts

Pawsworth should remain understandable and usable across phones, tablets, laptops, and larger displays.

Clear interactions

Buttons, links, forms, and other controls should be identifiable and provide understandable feedback.

Help when something fails

When someone encounters a barrier, there should be a clear path to contact us and ask for help.

Product Practices

What we're workingto support.

Accessibility is an ongoing process. These are some of the practices we intend to apply throughout Pawsworth.

Use semantic HTML and meaningful page structure where practical.

Provide accessible names and labels for interactive controls.

Maintain visible keyboard focus for interactive elements.

Avoid using color as the only way to communicate important information.

Support text resizing and responsive layouts.

Respect reduced-motion preferences where supported.

Use descriptive link and button language where context matters.

Provide text alternatives for meaningful images and visual content.

Review new experiences for accessibility as the platform evolves.

Accessibility Standards

A measurable goal, not a finished checkbox.

We use established web accessibility practices as a guide when designing and improving Pawsworth. Because the platform is still evolving, we do not represent that every page, feature, third-party integration, or piece of content will always be free of accessibility barriers.

When we identify issues, our goal is to evaluate and improve them as part of normal product development.

Third-Party Content

Some experiences may come from outside Pawsworth.

Pawsworth may link to or integrate with veterinary clinic websites, maps, scheduling systems, payment services, documents, or other third-party tools. We may not control the accessibility of those external services.

If a third-party experience creates a barrier while using Pawsworth, we still want to hear about it so we can better understand the problem and determine what options may be available.

Accessibility Feedback

Found something that's hard to use?

Tell us what happened, what page or feature you were using, and what would make the experience more accessible.
